1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a Ryder account, downloading our app, or using our API, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our platform.

2. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Ryder reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our policies or engage in fraudulent activity.

3. Delivery Rules & Restrictions

Ryder is a technology platform connecting senders with independent delivery partners. When using Ryder, you agree that:

• You will not use Ryder to transport illegal, hazardous, or dangerous goods.
• You must accurately declare the size and nature of the package.
• Riders reserve the right to refuse packages that do not match the dispatch description or appear unsafe.
• Handoffs must be secured using the Ryder OTP system to ensure valid custody transfer.

4. Payments & Billing

Fares are calculated upfront based on distance, package size, and real-time demand (surge pricing). Payments can be made via credit/debit card, Ryder wallet, or approved business invoicing. All payments are final unless covered by our Refund Policy.

5. Liability & Disclaimers

Ryder provides the platform "as is" and does not guarantee uninterrupted service. While we vet all riders and track deliveries, Ryder is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or extreme delays caused by factors outside our control (e.g., severe weather, road closures). For lost or damaged items, our liability is strictly limited to the declared value of the delivery up to a maximum cap defined in our operational guidelines.
